How large can the document library be?
Single documents up to 500 pages work out of the box. For knowledge bases of hundreds of documents, we provision a dedicated index — there is no hard cap.
What stops it from making up answers?
Retrieval-augmented generation: the model only answers from what is in your uploaded documents. If the answer is not there, it says so. Every response includes a citation so you can verify instantly.
Can multiple people query the same document set?
Yes. Shared workspaces with role-based access — read-only for most users, admin for uploads and library management. Session history is private per user by default.
Does it work with scanned documents?
Yes. OCR runs automatically on scanned PDFs and image-only files before indexing. Quality degrades on very low-resolution scans but is flagged in the source citation.
Where do our documents get stored?
In your tenant on EU infrastructure. Documents are indexed and stored only as long as you need them — delete at any time. Nothing is used for model training. GDPR compliant.
